Weirdly Useful is a small collection of calculators built around one idea: the ordinary parts of a life become fascinating the moment you count them. Your heart has been beating without a break since before you were born. You blink so often that, added up, your eyes have been shut for years. Nobody ever tells you these numbers — so we built the tools that do.

Each tool asks for the smallest amount of information it needs, usually a birthday or a daily habit, and instantly turns it into something you can picture: years asleep, cups of coffee, pizzas eaten, songs heard, or your age measured in Neptune years. Nothing you type leaves your device. There are no accounts, no databases and no tracking of your answers — the maths happens right in your browser.

Every result is an estimate. We use widely cited population averages for things like resting heart rate, blink frequency and calorie counts, then apply them consistently so the comparisons stay meaningful. They are made for curiosity, conversation and the occasional existential shiver — not for medical, scientific or financial decisions.
