What is this calculator?
Phone batteries age by charge cycle, not by calendar. This calculator takes how often you plug in, how old the battery already is and the cycle rating of the cell, then estimates the cycles used, the cycles left and roughly how many more months of normal use you can expect. It is a fast reality check before you decide between a battery swap and a new phone.
How does it work?
Daily charges become cycles per year, and your battery age converts that into cycles already spent. We subtract those from the rated cycle life, optionally scaling by the health percentage your phone reports, then divide the remainder by your charging rate to estimate the months remaining.

What is a charge cycle?+
One cycle is a full battery's worth of charging. Two half charges count as one cycle, so topping up often does not burn through cycles any faster.
How many cycles does a phone battery last?+
Most modern phones are rated for 500 to 1,000 cycles before capacity drops to roughly 80 percent. Newer flagships often sit at the higher end.
Should I enter my battery health percentage?+
If your phone reports it, yes. We then estimate cycles used from measured wear instead of from age, which is usually more accurate.
Does fast charging wear the battery out faster?+
Heat is the real culprit, and fast charging creates more of it. The effect is modest compared with how often you cycle the pack.
Is this a diagnosis of my battery?+
No. It is an estimate built on averages. Only your device or a service centre can measure the actual state of your cell.
